We are a Danish/Swedish couple, Lars & Maria, that left Denmark 3½ years ago on our circumnavigation. We are a little more than half way around and do still enjoy it very much.
Tommy and Helene Larsson on S/Y Bonnie af Stockholm. We left Sweden July 2016 our plan is to sail around the world. Right now we are little unsure which way to sail! But we will decide after this rally.
We both (Dörte & Frank from Germany) made our sailing license in 1989 and bought our own boat in Tampa/USA in 2007. It is a Morgan 41, built in 1972 in the same area. One year later we startet our circumnavigation from Florida on the well trodden "barefoot route" through the Caribean and the South Pacific and well, finally we are here!
Garry Simpson & Julie Mallise
We did the East Coast of Australia as far as Coffs Harbour in 2016 and the Sail2indonesia Rally in 2017
Alain Le Normand & Josiane Lancien & Daniele Le Joncour
Since his retirement in 2009 Alain has been sailing with Frankiz an Océanis 40 from Bénéteau (2018). To date he has done 45,000 NM with 3 transatlantics and after Panama a Pacific crossing. Currently his wife Josiane and a friend Danièle accompany him from Singapore until early March in Thailand.
Stuart Milne & Louis Evans
We are retired academics from Perth, Western Australia, who have been sailing all our lives. From 2004 to 2010 we had a fantastic journey around the world and started cruising in SE Asia after joining the Sail Indonesia rally in 2016.
Bob Sadler & Bev Irwin
A couple of Canadians who have lived many years in Australia. Have been cruising since 2013 when we bought Icaros in the Med.
After leaving France in 2006 Michel Jerva & Marie-Noelle Jerva extensively travelled the West coast of South America and after Panama they crossed the Pacific visiting New Caledonia, New Zealand and Australia. In 2018 they participated in both Sail Indonesia rallies.
Nick Wyatt & Zara Tremlett
After their long stint as marina managers of Phuket Yacht Haven Marina, they decided they needed a gap year to do everything they were way to busy to do before. Now joining Sail Thailand as co-organisers.
Diane Edwards together with Nui, Natissa, Peter, Dom, Adam, Vilma, Marieke & Bert
Our catamaran Nyami is usually in the charter biz, but we decided to take some time out and do something different. Hence Sail Thailand! We know the area very well, but are normally “on duty” with clients…. so this will be our chill-out, meet new cruising folks and have FUN-for-us time!
Luc (Brussels) and Jackie (California) have cruised for the last 25 years aboard their Norman Cross 46 trimaran, from the Caribbean via S & N Pacific to SE Asia. First time going to and excited to finally discover Thailand!
Trevor Donnelly & Kimi Willison
Due to serious engine problems that took time to have fixed, Trevor and Kim could only take part in the very last activities of the Rally. Sorry for you guys!!
Sue and Paul sailed Osborne Star from Fremantle, Australia, to spend the last 3 years exploring the wonders of Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. After 20 years the time has come for a change and we now look forward to new adventures cruising far afield aboard our recently acquired motor vessel Supa Star.
Anthony Swanston & Cat Cattermole
Anthony has been sailing single handed since 2009 and Cat has joined on board of Wild Fox for the Sail Thailand Rally, before returning to Vietnam.
